Traders’ FAQ

What is the difference between DXtrade and Devexperts and my broker/prop firm?
  • Devexperts is a technology and software provider that developed DXtrade for brokers and prop firms.
  • Devexperts is not a broker, and does not provide any services to traders. For this reason, it can not engage with traders directly in relation to any account inquiries.
  • DXtrade is the product name of the software that is used by brokers and prop firms.
  • Brokers and prop firms use this software (DXtrade) to provide their brokerage services to their traders. Brokers take care of all account inquiries for their traders.
  • Your broker or prop firm may have recently switched over to using DXtrade software to provide you with a trading platform and trading services. Your broker still manages the platform’s operations and all trader accounts, including account creation and account credentials.
Why can’t Devexperts help me with my account?

Devexperts is not a broker or prop firm and does not provide any services to traders. For this reason, it can not engage with traders directly in relation to any account inquiries.

What is the DXtrade demo account available here?

This demo account is not for traders. It is a service designed for brokers and prop firms to trial the DXtrade software.

If your broker or prop firm has recently switched to DXtrade (meaning that your broker is now using our software), they will issue you with any new credentials needed to sign into your new account.

Devexperts only develops the software and technology for brokers. We are not able to assist traders directly with any account inquiries. Please contact your broker or prop firm directly for assistance.

I can’t log in to the DXtrade mobile app/ the DXtrade app is slow for me. Why?

One of the benefits of DXtrade is that your broker gets their own mobile app (it is not shared with other brokers). However, this does mean that it requires some extra time to set up and be approved by app stores.  If your broker has recently switched to DXtrade and you are having trouble accessing the mobile app, please contact your broker directly for more information on the status of their app’s launch.

DXtrade supports only the regular Stop Loss/Take Profit protection orders.

Are there any tutorials or guides for traders on how to use your platform?

Here is a YouTube playlist with tutorials that could be helpful to traders. There are also great resources available on YouTube from traders and third parties (not connected to Devexperts) that use or have used DXtrade.

Can I use trading bots (EAs) in DXtrade?

To answer this question, we will assume that “Auto Break Even” refers to automatically adjusting the Stop Loss level to the trade entry price (when the trade has moved favorably for the client). Currently, the platform does not support an automatic feature for adjusting the Stop Loss level to break even. Traders can only manually modify the Stop Loss level.

Does DXtrade provide custom indicators like MT4/5?

Yes, we have plenty of indicators in the DXtrade platform. Most, if not all of the MT4/5 indicators are provided in the DXtrade terminal.

Is there a way to close all open positions with one click?

There is a close all button in the positions widget.

How far back in history can the charts go? Is there a way to add more data to the candles?

The chart history data is controlled by the broker company. You can go back as far as there is available data provided by the broker.

Are there any specific requirements for traders to use the DXtrade API?

No, however, your broker or prop firm controls the IPs permitted for their platform. They may only allow certain IPs. Please confirm this with your broker or prop firm directly.

A reminder that as a software and technology provider, we can’t engage with traders directly. Traders must direct all inquiries to their broker or prop firm.

Can you provide a list of brokers and prop firms who are using your REST API?

Brokers and prop firms may decide to open up the APIs for external use, most do. We do not publish an external list due to contractual reasons.

We see you are integrated with TradingView and brokers using your backend can accept orders from the TradingView platform, is that correct? Do you have more information about that?

Yes, that is correct. DXtrade can act as the backend for brokers using Tradingview.com. You can find more information about this integration here.

Can I download DXtrade onto my PC? / IS there a DXtrade desktop application?

DXTrade is only available as a web or mobile application.

Does DXtrade have a REPLAY mode feature?

No, there is no functionality that supports the replay of past market movements/trade simulation.

Would it be possible to integrate our trade copier to TradingView, using DXtrade?

This would only work for those brokers using DXtrade as the backend, and those that have opened up the API access.
