On Thursday, October 15, at 3 PM GMT+1 (10 AM in New York, 5 PM in Limassol), we are hosting a live panel on how to grow a brokerage or prop firm as paid acquisition keeps getting more expensive. The webinar, “How Can Brokers Actually Grow?”, brings together speakers from TradingView, Pelican, TradeInformer, and our own product team.

What the panel will cover

  • What moving from an entry-level SaaS setup to a platform you control involves
  • What clients expect from a trading interface, and how the frontend affects conversion
  • How copy trading and social features shape client lifetime value
  • Where prop trading and retail brokerage overlap

The speakers will also address product-led growth as an alternative to paid acquisition and international expansion on a fixed budget.

Two DXtrade integrations on one panel

Two of the four speakers come from companies whose products integrate with DXtrade. Through the DXtrade integration with TradingView, your clients can trade directly from TradingView charts. Pelican’s copy trading network, with more than 9,000 live strategies sourced from over 60 brokers, is available to brokers licensing DXtrade.

Speakers

Jon Light, Senior Director of Product Management, Devexperts

Jon leads product management at Devexperts, the company behind DXtrade. He came to Devexperts from senior FX product and trading roles at Marex Spectron, CFH Clearing, Markit, and Cobalt, where he was Head of Product. On the panel, he’ll discuss what a broker gains from controlling its technology and the costs of the transition.

Ed Hancock, Director of Operations, Pelican

Ed runs Pelican’s UK operations and oversees the copy trading systems the company provides to brokers. His background covers engineering, research, analysis, and marketing.

Rauan Khassan, Chief Growth Officer, TradingView

Rauan joined TradingView in 2015. As Regional Manager for CIS markets, he grew the local community to 100,000 unique monthly visitors within six months without external marketing spend. He now oversees international expansion and the broker partnerships that let traders place orders from TradingView charts, including the DXtrade integration.

David Kimberley, Founder, TradeInformer

David started TradeInformer in 2022 as a weekly email for industry insiders. It now covers the brokerage and prop trading industries through news and long-form analysis, with a separate weekly newsletter on prop trading. Its reporting draws on company filings and payout data. Before TradeInformer, he worked at the London stockbroker Freetrade and the asset management group Kepler Partners.

Registration

The session suits brokerage and prop firm executives working out where their next stage of growth comes from, and the product and growth leads who own the platform decisions behind it.
