The May release adds configurable margin call alerts and a long-only options level that opens futures options to more traders. Brokers can also add an AI assistant to the web platform, and traders get easier ways to find the right options series in the Option Chain.

Benefits for brokers

Margin call alerts with a configurable response per control

Brokers can now send margin call alerts to traders in Web Trader the moment a critical margin threshold is breached on a trader’s account, giving the trader time to deposit funds or close positions before automatic liquidation. Each alert shows the affected metric’s current value against the configured threshold and tells the trader how to act.

Alerts cover five risk controls: Maintenance Excess, Minimum Equity, Minimum Net Liquidation, Minimum Equity-to-Margin, and Max Total Loss, Day. For each control, brokers choose the response to a breach independently: an alert only, or full or partial automatic liquidation. A control can also be set to take no action.

Long-only level for futures options

A new options level, Long Futures Options Strategies, gives traders access to long-only strategies: long calls, long puts, long straddles, long strangles, and protective calls and puts. It sits between disabled options trading and Basic Futures Options Strategies, so brokers can bring futures options to a broader range of traders while their options risk stays limited to the premium paid.

AI assistant in the web platform

An AI assistant is now available for the DXtrade web platform as an optional add-on. It answers product questions from the platform’s user documentation and, where configured, connects traders directly to a live support chat, so they get answers faster without leaving the platform.

Benefits for traders

ClearPort symbols and the Expiration Style filter in the Option Chain

The Option Chain now shows the ClearPort symbol for each futures options series, for example X2A or EX3, so traders can identify a series at a glance on both web and mobile. A new Expiration Style filter for futures and equity options lets traders narrow the chain to American-style or European-style options.
